siteBuild: This applet was designed to be used as a demo for a customer. siteBuild is a Java applet that is used to collect basic company information and save the information in a company profile on the server. The user can then select a web theme or template. The server side Java application then generates the customer web site based on the company profile. The customer can change information or select a different template and the customer web site will be regenerated. The java applet/application is built
using java beans that have been designed to facilitate state machine - page
wizard and data collection. This allows the power of a visual IDE to develop numerous custom data collection wizards with very little custom programming.

RaceGraph: A Java applet that is a graphical representation of the 1996 Indy 500. This applet was designed to demonstrate the ability of java to deliver real time data to the race fan. This applet can be configured to show real time track activity but it is currently setup to replay a race. The Indy 500 uses a system called DATA-1 which consists of 22 time lines installed at various location around the track and a unique transmitter installed in each car. When a car crosses a time line such as Start/Finish, Pit Entry, Pit Exit, Turn 1 etc. a event is generated and processed by the Timing and Scoring software. This information is used for timing practice, scoring the race, pit speed limit violations, scoreboard displays and television feeds. This information is also used to dynamically generate HTML scoring documents that are updated every 20 seconds. Racegraph is a java 1.0.2 applet which has been tested on various platforms. It should take 2 minutes to load on a 28.8 connection and another minute or so before the race begins. The server side Java application that delivers the streaming data has not been load tested for multiple users and is currently limited to 50 connections. CURRENTLY THE HOST SERVER IS OFF-LINE
